Anambra Airport is located in Umueri and not Aguleri, retract your story or face legal action

The people of Umueri has registered their displeasure following the misinformation by TVC News in one of their YouTube channels following the visit of the Presidential candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to Anambra State, 31st Jan. 2023

Recall that the presidential candidate of the APC was in Anambra State in continuation of his presidential campaign. however, TVC news believed to be owned by Tinubu in one of the videos posted on YouTube channels, suggested that Anambra Int'l Airport is located in Aguleri instead of Umueri. this has not gone down well with the people of Umueri Community who have now demanded a retraction and an apology

 

in an interview granted one of our correspondent, the Chairman of Umuopu, Umuatuolu Village in Ivite Umueri, Mr. Tochukwu Henry Chidebelu stated that this is one case too many of deliberate attempts by faceless individuals to provoke Umueri community, his statement reads in part;

"Our attention has been drawn to the online publication of 31st Jan. 2023 and titled: 

Moment Asiwaju Bola Tinubu arrives At the airport in Aguleri Anambra state”

"Ordinarily, we wouldn't have bothered responding to this deceitful publication, after all, Aguleri is different from Umueri community, but for the need to correct the misinformation as regards the exact location of the Anambra Int'l Cargo and Passenger Airport".

"We have in the time past observed with total dismay, the deliberate replacement of Umueri with Aguleri by brown envelope journalists and news media such as yours"

Mr. Tochukwu added that the enemies of Umueri community are still at work, and, this being the latest attack on our people have recruited your news media to achieve their selfish but failed ambition.

"We therefore want to state categorically and without mincing words - that the Anambra International Cargo & Passenger Airport is located in Invite Umueri, Anambra East Local Government Area and not in Aguleri."

"The publication by TVC news and other brown envelope journalists is a total falsehood, and, a deliberate act to provoke the good people of Umueri community".  

the statement further added that; "In any case, we demand immediate retraction of that deliberate falsehood. One would expect that a news blogger like TVC, Newsgiver etc, would do due deligence before pushing out any information in their reportage".

"We are hereby demanding a total retraction and official apology to Umueri people which should be published in all the major Newspaper Dailies within 3 days (72 hours) or face legal actions

"Our legal teams have been contacted in this regards. “A stitch in time saves Nine”
