Hon. Gwacham Applauds The Passage of South East Development Commission By National Assembly



The member representing Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency, Hon. Chinwe Maureen Gwacham, has expressed strong optimism that the passage of the South East Development Commission bill into law by the National Assembly will, to some extent, heal the wounds of the Civil war, which ended in 1970.

Speaking to News men in Awka, Hon. Gwacham maintained that the significance of the South East Development Commission to the socio-economic transformation of the South East geopolitical zone, can never be over emphasized.

Hon. Gwacham therefore called on senators and members of the House of Representatives of South East extraction to work in synergy with relevant stakeholders from the zone in ord r to achieve the set-goals of the commission.
